I love the sauce of vegetables cooked in coconut milk. Yum, yum! Thus for Luntiang Lunes, I prepared Ginataang Kalabasa at Sitaw. I hope my children will like ginataang gulay the same way as their mom does. : )
Ingredients:
-Put coconut milk, ginger, onion, fish sauce, string beans and TVP in a casserole.
-Bring to boil for 3 minutes uncovered.
-Add Squash and simmer until cooked.
Enjoy!
- 250g Squash,peeled and sliced
- 200g String Beans cut 2' long
- 100g Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP)
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 thumb size ginger, sliced thinly
- 3 cups coconut milk
- 3 tablespoons fish sauce
-Put coconut milk, ginger, onion, fish sauce, string beans and TVP in a casserole.
-Bring to boil for 3 minutes uncovered.
-Add Squash and simmer until cooked.
