Luntiang Lunes: Dinengdeng

My entry for today's Luntiang Lunes: Dinengdeng. When we were kids our mother usually served us this dish during lunch time. She used fried fish that's left after breakfast. For this recipe, I intentionally fried fish just to cook Dinengdeng for the children and intended for lunch, too.

Sigarilyas (winged bean)
Sitaw (string beans)
okra
talong (egg plant)
3 pcs boiled purple kamote(sweet potatoes)
3 pcs fried tilapia or dalagang bukid
bagoong (fish paste)

Put water, cooked sliced kamote, fried fish and bagoong in a casserole.
Bring to boil for 3 minutes.
Add remaining vegetables and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve hot!

Enjoy!
