Cream Cheese in Saudi Arabia come in cheaper compared here in the Philippines. This is what I often ask Mr. A to bring for whenever he comes for vacation. I would like also to share where I often use it with aside from cream cheese cake. I add it in my Maja Blanca to make it richer and special.

Here's the plate with maja blanca which I served to my two children for snack.

- 1 1/2 cups cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups thick coconut milk
- 1 1/2 cups sugur
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup all purpose cream
- 1/2 cup cream of corn or corn kernel
- yellow and red food color (optional)
- Dissolve cornstarch in water. Set aside.
- Boil coconut milk, sugar and cream cheese. Mix well until cream cheese is completely dissolved.
- Add the cornstarch and water mixture. Be sure to stir the mixture before adding.
- Stir constantly to avoid lumps. Turn to low heat.
- Immediately add all purpose cream and cream of corn or corn kernel. Mix well.
- Pour 1/3 of maja blanca onto a pan. Spread evenly.
- Add 2-3 drops of yellow food color to the remaining maja blanca, mix well.
- Pour 1/3 again of the yellow colored maja blanca on the same pan. Spread evenly.
- Add 2 drops of red color to the remaining yellow maja blanca, mix well.
- Lastly, pour the orange maja blanca on the same pan. Spread evenly.
- Let cool until set.
- Sprinkle with shredded and toasted coconut.
- Serve Cold.
