I have seen a ready to cook sliced langka in the market last weekend. Since my children love dishes prepared with coconut milk, I thought of cooking the langka with coconut milk. Here's an entry and what I made with the langka: Guinataang Langka at Dahon ng Malunggay.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
Shred fried fish and put it in a pan.
Add sliced onion and pounded ginger.
Add two cups of water.
Prepare the coconut milk powder by pouring it in a small bowl, add 1 cup of water and stir.
Boil the water with ginger, fish and onion.
Add the sliced langka.
Add the coconut milk powder with water, cover the pan and cook it for 10 minutes.
Add the malunggay leaves and 1 tablespoon of fish sauce.
Cook until the langka is tender.
Serve while hot.
Enjoy!
